Online Driver Education

  • Below you will find the curriculum outline. There are 10 chapters total with a test at the end of each chapter to review your knowledge. The final test will be cumulative and measure your understanding of the materials in the curriculum.

  • You must be at least 15 1/2 years old to obtain your drivers permit.

  • You may take the course starting at the age of 15.

  • No. All information is kept confidential.

  • You may take the tests as many times as you need for no additional charge. Keep in mind that you do have 1 year to complete your online driver education course from date of purchase.

  • Yes. You have 12 months from the purchased date to complete the online course. Please read the policy at the time of enrollment for any additional fees.

  • Yes. If you are under the age of 18 applying for your learners permit you are required to show proof that you have completed your Online Drivers Education.

    Students under the age of 18 that have completed the course will receive a Certificate of Completion of Drivers Education (DL 400C). The certificate will be mailed out to the student's address within 48 hours of completing the course.

    Students can also arrange to pick up the certificate at our office.

  • Yes. This course has been reviewed and meets the curriculum requirements for the California DMV.

Behind-the-Wheel Training

  • Each driving lesson is 2 hours.

  • No. DMV requirements state that driver training can’t exceed more than two hours per day (1 lesson).

  • Driving lessons are available Tuesday - Saturday. Schedules are subject to change during holiday seasons and school breaks.

  • Yes! We pick up and drop off students at their home address or preferred address in the following areas:

    • Costa Mesa

    • Fountain Valley

    • Garden Grove (92843)

    • Huntington Beach

    • Midway City

    • Santa Ana (92703, 92704)

    • Sunset Beach

    • Westminster

    Students outside of the listed cities and zip codes will begin their driving lessons at our office in Huntington Beach:

  • Our behind-the-wheel training is conducted by full-time, DMV-licensed driving instructors who are highly qualified to teach, observe, and provide constructive feedback to student drivers.

  • Our training vehicles are dual-controlled, late-model cars that are clearly marked to provide a realistic driving experience for students.

    We maintain an exemplary safety record that exceeds the standards set by the state of California. Additionally, our vehicles are regularly inspected and maintained by certified mechanics to ensure optimal safety and performance.

  • Our behind-the-wheel driving instructors are full-time, DMV-licensed professionals with extensive experience. To ensure a high level of trust and safety, all instructors are required to undergo comprehensive background checks by the Department of Justice and the FBI. They also engage in continuous education and training, which keeps them highly qualified to effectively teach, observe, and provide corrective feedback to student drivers.

  • Yes! Each driving lesson is dedicated to the student. Your instructor will be there to guide, observe and provide feedback throughout the 2-hour lesson. There are never any other students in the car.

  • During behind-the-wheel training students are trained on an individual basis.

    • The student driver is taught vehicle control basics and applications of defensive driving fundamentals in real driving environments.

    • Our instructors will teach student drivers in all categories of roads including freeway driving (only if the student is ready and capable)

    • Driving in city traffic and residential area driving

    • On the last day of their training our instructor will administer a mock DMV test using the same criteria of scoring the state uses in its testing. This will greatly improve their chance of passing on the final driving test. 

  • No. We teach all eligible teenagers and adults that need assistance passing their driving test.

    All students are required to have a permit in order to book a driving lesson.
