New Driver Packages

Our New Driver Packages combine Online Driver Education and Behind-the-Wheel Training to give new drivers everything they need to drive safely and confidently. (Already have your permit? Click here.)

Packages start at $519

Online Driver Education is available to all California residents. Complimentary pick-up and drop-off for driver training is available to students within our service area. By registering, you acknowledge and agree to AB Teen Driving Academy's policy.

    • Online Driver Education: Learn at your own pace with engaging lessons on road rules and real-world driving. The course includes 10 chapters, each with a review test, and a final cumulative exam to assess your knowledge. Learn more.

    • Behind-the-Wheel Training: Practical, hands-on lessons with certified instructors to ensure you're ready for the road. Learn more.

  • Students have one year from the date of purchase to complete the online driver education course and their driving lessons.

    Please make sure to plan accordingly to finish within this timeframe.

    • Permit Requirements:

      • Be at least 15½ years old

      • Complete a DMV-approved driver education course

      • Pass the written knowledge test at the DMV

    • License Requirements:

      • Be at least 16 years old

      • Hold your permit for at least 6 months

      • Complete 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training with a certified instructor

      • Complete 50 hours of supervised driving, including 10 hours at night

      • Pass the DMV driving test
